SST 32 Supervisor – Course Description
The New York City Department of Buildings SST 32-Hour Supervisor course is designed to satisfy the Site Safety Training requirements for supervisors working on major construction projects throughout New York City. This course provides supervisors with comprehensive knowledge related to construction site safety management, fall prevention, hazard recognition, supported scaffold safety, worker protection, and regulatory compliance in accordance with NYC DOB and applicable OSHA standards. Successful completion of this course helps participants meet the training requirements necessary to obtain an SST Supervisor card.

The course covers key topics including fall prevention, supported scaffold, site safety management, hazard identification, and supervisory responsibilities. Emphasis is placed on leadership, regulatory compliance, and maintaining a safe jobsite.
Upon successful completion, students will receive a certificate and will be eligible to obtain or upgrade to an SST Supervisor card.
PLEASE NOTE: Students must also have completed and passed the OSHA 30 construction industry course, within the last 5 years, to qualify for a NYC DOB training connect SST 32 supervisor yellow card. CEU Requirements:
- Full course completion required for CEUs.
- All modules and assessments must be completed with 70% passing score.
