The OSHA 10-Hour General Industry course is an introductory occupational safety and health training program designed for entry-level workers in general industry environments such as manufacturing, warehousing, healthcare, maintenance, retail, distribution, and other non-construction workplaces. This course provides participants with a basic understanding of OSHA regulations, workplace hazard recognition, and safe work practices.
The training focuses on identifying, avoiding, and preventing common workplace hazards while promoting a culture of safety and compliance. Topics include OSHA worker rights, employer responsibilities, walking and working surfaces, hazard communication, personal protective equipment (PPE), electrical safety, machine guarding, emergency action procedures, ergonomics, and workplace health hazards.
Upon successful completion, participants will receive an OSHA 10-Hour General Industry completion card issued through an authorized OSHA Outreach Training Program provider.
